As Dell’s first ever Chief Customer Officer, you’re talking to customers every day about the challenges and opportunities they face. What are you hearing?
It’s two sides of the same coin. Customers—regardless of size, sector or geography—are dealing with a ton of change and disruption. They are desperate to optimize their organizations for today’s all-digital, data-driven world. But conversely, they also see the enormous opportunity ahead. Everything we’ve done to reshape and transform Dell has been about getting in position to help our customers meet this change head on so they can win. And we’re more ready than we’ve ever been!
What are you most excited about for this year’s Dell EMC World?
I’m most excited about getting quality time with customers—to listen and learn from them about how we can better serve them. I’m also looking forward to our Women in IT programming. This is something we piloted last year, and it was a highlight of the show. Diversity is such a huge priority for us inside Dell, but it’s also something we want to influence within our industry. By making Dell EMC World inclusive and engaging for women technology leaders, we believe we are chipping away at the cultural obstacles that have historically stood in the way of meaningful change.
